CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1824

FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 14, 2018

WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE MILLER

On April 22, 2018, shortly before 2am, an unknown suspect vehicle drove West on Central, toward Mt. Carmel from Meridian, and turned north on Mt. Carmel. The car slowly drove in the neighborhood before parking in the driveway and knocked on the door to the victim’s home. When there is no answer, the suspect left.

A short time later, the suspect returned from the north on Mt. Carmel and parked in the street, walking to the house. About 15 minutes later the suspect returned to the car and left, going back to the east on Central. The suspect broke into the home, killed the victim’s dog with a blunt object, and stole a computer and headphones.

There is video that captures the suspect vehicle provided by a local business. It appears the vehicle is an unknown newer model black four-door.
