CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1812

WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER: 18C16968

On March 16, 2018 shortly before midnight, Wichita Police Officers were dispatched to an alarm at Seeders, located in the 4100 block of S. Broad Street in Wichita. When Officers arrived, it appeared the gate had been rammed off the rails and two overhead garage doors were also damaged. The damage is estimated at approximately $10,000.00. The suspects also took lawn equipment from the business valued at approximately $2,000.00.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1811

FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 15, 2018

WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE BROWN

WPD CASE NUMBER: 18C504480

On February 16, 2018, the several antique cannons and other military memorabilia were stolen from outside of Abay Neuroscience Center, 3223 N. Webb. The owner of the business reported this occurred some time overnight. The loss is estimated at approximately $45,000.00.

A video camera captured the suspect vehicle, a blue late 90’s Chevrolet extended cab pick-up truck, shown below.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1810

FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 8, 2018

WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE MELLARD

WPD CASE NUMBER: 18C014178

On March 5, 2018 the two individuals shown below, forced entry into Central Steel located in the 200 block of West 10th Street. They gained entry by forcing open a window. Once inside, they spray painted the interior and stole a fork lift and a radio from the business. The forklife was located nearby.

This is the third incident at the business this year. Investigators believe the same two suspects are involved in all three incidents. Investigators also believe the crimes are occurring some time between late Friday night and Sunday morning.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1809

FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 1, 2018

WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE MILLER

On February 22, 2018 shortly after 2pm, the three suspects in the red car pictured below, burglarized a residence in the 800 block of S. Lightner shortly after the resident left the home. A neighbor’s surveillance system recorded the suspects driving by the home twice in an unknown red four-door vehicle before the resident left. The suspects then backed into the driveway to load property after the resident was gone. Entry was made by forcing the back door.

The car is missing the right front wheel cover.
