On Tuesday, December 19, 2015 at around 10:30 pm, The Dollar General Store at 4549 E Pawnee was robbed. The suspect is described as a black male, five feet ten inches tall and 185 pounds. The suspect was wearing a very distinctive ski type mask with a white skull imprinted upon it. The suspect was also wearing gloves that had yellow or gold colored rubberized palms and fingers. The suspect did not brandish a weapon and passed a note to the store clerk demanding money from the cash register. The store clerk believed the suspect was armed because the suspect kept his right hand in his jacket pocket as though he was holding a weapon. The loss was an undetermined amount of cash.

About 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, a man playing basketball with several people at Evergreen Recreation Center, 2700 N. Woodland, was involved in a disagreement over a violation on the court. He went out to his vehicle, got a handgun and returned to the center. A confrontation occurred between him and another man on the court. The suspect punched the victim, and then removed the handgun from his pocket and hit him in the face with the gun. The suspect left in a grey Dodge Magnum. We need to identify him; he is pictured below.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, a homeowner in the 13000 block of Onewood Street called 911 to report a burglary. She said that sometime after midnight, an unknown person or persons entered the home while several people were sleeping. Items taken included a 50-inch television, cash, credit cards, financial documents, a watch, earrings, a cell phone and a child’s back pack containing school books. She estimates the loss at about $5,000. The walk-out door in the basement was open, and both doors in the garage were found unlocked. The homeowner recalls locking those doors before going to bed. There were muddy foot tracks throughout the house.

At approximately 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, a residence in the 700 block of North Mathewson was burglarized by two men. A neighbor heard a loud noise, looked out the window and saw them running from the house, each holding a television. Besides the TVs, they also took an iPad. The neighbor chased them and took pictures of their car, a newer model red Dodge Charger. The neighbor said there was a red Christmas tree air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror.

Both men are black, approximately 25 years old and of average build. One was wearing light-gray hoodie and sweat pants. The other was wearing a gray hoodie.
