CRIME STOPPERS CASE # 1420

Just before 6 p.m. Monday, May 12, two men robbed the Happy Smoke Shop at 2855 S. Hydraulic. One had assault rifle, and they demanded money from the employee. An unknown amount of cash was taken. No one was injured.

Suspect one is a thin black man, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark hoodie, a clown mask and gloves, and was carrying the rifle. Suspect two also is a thin black man, about 5-foot-8 and wearing a dark ball cap, a dark bandanna over his face and light colored gloves. They left in a red four-door car, possibly Dodge Stratus or Intrepid. it has hood damage around the front passenger side headlight.

CRIME STOPPERS CASE # 1419

LEAD DETECTIVE: DETECTIVE DAVIS, WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Just before 9 a.m. Monday, April 28, the D&T Station at 895 S. Woodlawn was robbed. The robber pointed a black handgun at the employee and demanded all the money. After he received the cash he ran from the store and headed south. There were no injuries.

The suspect is a black male with a dark complexion, 30s, 6 foot and about 225 pounds. He was wearing a red thigh-length coat with red horizontal stripes and a hood. He had a black bandanna over his face.

LEAD DETECTIVE: OFFICER MAUCK, WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Just after 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 26, a 6-year-old boy ran around the back of an SUV, parked by the curb in the 6200 block of East Eilert, and into the street. A vehicle turned onto Eilert at the same time. The car struck the child hard enough that he flew up in the air and landed in the middle of the street. The driver didn't stop. The child had cuts and abrasions and was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.

Police are looking for a 2000s model gray or silver Pontiac Grand Prix. It has an out-of- state license tag, possibly Pennsylvania.
