CRIME STOPPERS CASE #1336
FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 15, 2013
DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER:   11C062561
LEAD DETECTIVE: DET. FATKIN, WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT, HOMICIDE

Crime Stoppers and the Wichita Police Department are asking for the public's help to solve several cold case homicides. Today we are seeking information on a homicide that occurred Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. Timothy McGuigan was supposed to have breakfast with his son that morning, but never arrived; he didn't show up for work either. Worried co-workers called his son and asked him to check on his father. The son went to his father's house in the 2500 block of North Woodridge and found him dead. When police arrived they discovered that McGuigan had been shot multiple times with a small caliber handgun. There was no sign of forced entry, and robbery does not appear to be the motive.

If you have information about this homicide or any felony crime call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. You can also submit a tip online at www.wsccs.com or from your mobile phone by texting TIP217 then your message to CRIMES (274637). All ways are secure and anonymous.
