Sometime between 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, and 7 a.m. Monday, May 20, an unknown person(s) entered the Northwest Christian Church Branches Academy at 10850 W. 21st. They took multiple laptops and iPods from classrooms. Loss is estimated at more than $5,000.

LEAD: DET. ALEXANDER, WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Just after 1 a.m. Monday, April 15, two residential robberies occurred in the 1500 block of North Montana. Three men, one armed with a shotgun, were able to get into the first residence and surprise the victim. The victim was held at gunpoint while the other two suspects went through the residence. Electronics were the only thing taken.

The second robbery occurred just up the street shortly after the first robbery. The suspects are believed to be the same men involved in the first robbery. They knocked on the door. When the homeowner answered, one suspect pointed a handgun at him. The victim was forced to lie on the ground and was tied up while the other robbers went through his residence. After they left he was able to untie himself and contacted the police. There were officers already nearby working the first scene. Loss was electronics, cash and miscellaneous items.

The suspects are white males. Two are of average height and build; the third is tall and slender.

FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 12, 2013

LEAD: DET.WILKES, PARK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
 

At approximately 1:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, an unknown person(s) broke into the Park City maintenance facilities at 225 W. 61st St. N. Once inside, most of the vehicles on site were searched and miscellaneous items were taken. The suspect(s) also stole a 2002 Chevy utility truck. The vehicle was recovered later that day at 85th Street North and Greenwich. Missing from the truck was an industrial air compressor, its light bar and miscellaneous tools.

Shortly after 630 p.m. on Monday, April 22, a black male walked into the Family Dollar at 1632 S. Broadway. The suspect entered the store and pointed a handgun at the cashier demanding money, and telling the people in the store not to move or he would shoot. The suspect has last seen headed south from the store in an late 80’s or early 90’s gray primer colored Oldsmobile driven by a male. There were no injuries.
The suspect is describe as a medium to heavyset black male, 6 foot tall, wearing a dark hoodie, black jeans, white tennis shoes, a black bandanna with white print around his face, and carrying a black and silver handgun.
