CRIME STOPPERS CASE 1827

FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 2, 2018
WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE SUPANCIC


On Monday, July 9, 2018 at approximately 11pm Officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Walmart in the 10600 block of west 21st St. North.

Upon arrival, officers contacted a 24-year-old male employee of Walmart who reported an unknown suspect entered the Walmart, brandished a knife, and demanded money from a female employee. The employee was forced to put the cash in a camouflage backpack. The suspect fled from the store on foot.

The suspect has been described as either a white male or female, wearing a black mask, black jacket and pants, carrying a camouflage backpack, armed with a knife and described as approximately 5’6” and 130 lbs. The suspect was last seen on foot running from the store. No vehicle was seen.
