SUSPECT WANTED IN 2016 HOMICIDE CASE

On October 26, 2016, Samuel Resendez met with Faustino Martinez Jr. in the parking lot of 2025 S. Seneca at approximately 4:45 pm. During this time, they got into an argument and Faustino Martinez shot and killed Samuel Resendez and fled in a 2010 white Range Rover. The vehicle was recovered close to the scene, but Faustino Martinez is still outstanding. He currently has an outstanding warrant for 1st Degree Murder, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Distribute.

Investigators believe he is most likely in Mexico or Southern California, but could possibly be in Wichita.
