SEDGWICK COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT: DETECTIVE BLOESING
The pictured subject is a suspect in an auto burglary at the Sedgwick County Extension Office located at 7001 W. 21St N. in Wichita, KS. The incident occurred some time around 9am on 10/19/2017. The suspect stole the victim’s purse and contents. He then proceeded to attempt to take out a cash advance at a local bank on the west side of town. Video surveillance captured the suspect’s face, but it is of poor quality. He appears to be a 30-40 year old W/M with glasses and a lit cigarette. He is driving a newer model silver Ford F-150 STX 4x4 with 2018 Kansas plates and a ball hitch on a receiver. There are unusual hexagonal boxes in the bed of the truck that.
There have been several similar incidents occurring in the area of the Sedgwick County Park and Extension Center, but it is unknown if the incidents are related. Any information regarding this suspect’s identity would be appreciated.
