About 3 p.m. Friday, May 12, a woman walked into the lobby of the Plaza North Senior Residence, in the 2100 block of N. Madison. She spoke with a tenant who lived there and asked to use the restroom in her apartment. She then walked with the tenant back down to the lobby. About 10 minutes later, the suspect can be seen on video surveillance walking back to the victim’s apartment alone. She stole the woman’s jewelry box and several prescription medications.
