Sometime between 4:45 and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, unknown persons entered a carport in the 13900 block of West 93rd St. N. They took a teal-colored 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan and a white 1999 GMC Sierra. In one truck bed there was an air compressor, a John Deere generator, miscellaneous Craftsman tools and irrigation parts. A Hobart portable generator/welder was taken from a nearby shed. Loss is valued at more than $14,000.

On that same morning neighbors saw a red Ford truck with Arkansas plates, occupied by seven Hispanic males, driving around in the area. A neighbor stopped to talk to them; they said they were looking for a house for a roofing job.
