LEAD INVESTIGATOR: DETECTIVE MOLDE, WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT
On February 8, 2017 at approximately 10:30 pm, the victim in this case was shot at multiple times while in his vehicle in the 2100 block on North Minnesota. The victim had just left a convenience store in the area, and reported exchanging words with an unknown male that was staring at him. The male suspect was in a 4 door sedan, possibly a blue Mercury Sable. After leaving the parking lot, the victim’s vehicle was fired upon by suspect(s) inside of the suspect vehicle. Multiple shots were fired striking the back windshield of the victim’s vehicle and exiting out the front windshield. Fortunately, the driver was not injured.
