About 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, a resident of the Timbers, an apartment complex for people with disabilities at 2021 N. Old Manor, was making her way through the complex on her personal scooter. She was struck by a white sedan. The collision broke her leg, requiring surgery to repair it. The injury was complicated by her disability.

Surveillance footage shows an unknown black man and black woman with the victim after the incident. The man left on foot, and the woman drove off in the white car pictured below.
