About 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, a man pointed a gun at an employee of the Scooters Coffee shop near Central and Ridge and demanded money. The employee moved to the back of the business and dialed 911. The suspect, a black man, was filmed on video surveillance from the store. He was wearing a black doo rag, a red hoodie and driving a newer white Chrysler 300 or Buick Regal.
