About 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, a man went into Central Plains Distributing at 1508 E. Harry, had a brief conversation with an older employee and then asked to use the phone. He dialed a fake number and then grabbed a ceramic vase off the desk and hit the employee multiple times while demanding money. After he got a small amount of cash the robber ran away. The employee was treated for multiple lacerations.

The suspect is black with short black hair, about 6 feet tall, a medium build and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing orange shorts and a black shirt.
