CRIME STOPPERS CASE #1350
FOR THE WEEK OF DEC. 15, 2013
DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER: 13C000935
LEAD DETECTIVE: DET. ALBERT, GODDARD POLICE DEPARTMENT

At 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, a man went into the Wal-Mart at 18631W. Kellogg Dr. in Goddard. Earlier he had talked to a salesman about buying two 50-inch televisions, and they were moved to the front of the store for him to pick up. The man walked around the store where he met two women. He and the women went to the checkout and bought several low-value items. He saw where the two TVs he had called about were placed, awaiting his purchase. He took the items he had purchased to his vehicle, and then returned to the store with a fake receipt for the TVs. He loaded them in his vehicle and drove away before the theft was discovered. Loss is valued at $1,500.

The suspect is a white male of average height and build, wearing blue jeans and a dark coat, with long hair and a goatee.
